Apex court rejects plea of 16 percent reservation to Maratha in jobs

The Apex Court on Wednesday rejected a plea challenging Maharashtra government's decision to grant 16 per cent reservation to Marathas in jobs and education in the state and the matter were still pending adjudication.However, a bench of Chief Justice T S Thakur and A M Khanwilkar allowed the petitioner Vinod Narayan Patil to approach Bombay High Court for "expeditious" hearing of the case.View ...
