Bihar board exams: 1000 expelled for cheating



On Saturday, an official from Bihar board told that nearly 1000 students have been expelled from the examination for adopting the unfair means and cheating during the class 12 board exams. Anand Kishore, the Chairman of the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), told the media "the students were expelled “for adopting unfair means” during the examinations that concluded on Friday".Bihar Board exams have started on February 6. The chairman told that 25 fake examiners were also caught during the exams and FIR has been lodged against the guardians for trying to help their children cheating during the exam.He further claimed that this year exams have been conducted in a fair manner and mass cheating in the Bihar Board exams is now a thing of past.Nearly 112,07,986 students appeared for the Class 12 exams at 1,384 centers across the state.For years, mass cheating has been reported in Bihar. Last year, the class 12 topper was a 42-year-old man who had faked his id and age to take the test.
