UP Board exams: Matura is all set to prevent the cheating during the exams

A state govt. official said on Sunday "elaborate arrangements have been made to prevent cheating and maintain transparency in the ensuing Uttar Pradesh board examinations commencing from Tuesday".“Prohibitory orders under section 144 have been promulgated with a ban on outsiders within a periphery of 200 meters, and the entire district has been divided into three super zones, 7 zones and 27 sectors,” District Magistrate Sarvagyab Ram Mishra said. He further added "ADMs would be in charge of the super zones, SDMs and city magistrate would look after the zones. Around 43 centers infamous for mass cheating were done away with and 1,13,654 candidates would take the examination in 153 centers across the district".To ensure that cheating or any malicious activity do not take place during the exams Mishra told that from the opening of the question paper to sealing and dispatching of the copies would be done under the surveillance of the CCTV cameras. In case of mass copying, FIR would be registered against invigilators and center superintendents. The state has taken every necessary precaution to prevent the cheating during the exams.
