CBSE board students will be given a chance to raise the objections

CBSE board students will be given a chance to raise the objections

From this year, CBSE has decided that it will give students a chance to raise the objections and register complaints against the questions in the board exams. The board has asked the principals of respective schools to record the feedback from the students and forward it to the board within 24 hours of the conduct of the examination. This will help the expert group in preparing the marking scheme. The board has also released an observation schedule in the same regard. The performa will be filled and forwarded by the principal of the respective schools either by mail or fax.Students will be able to register their complaints under the question deemed out of syllabus' or 'beyond the comprehension level' or under 'defective formation of questions' or ''faulty translation'. Other feedback can also be provided with relevant details. The Board has also urged teachers, allotted for answer script checking, to carry out the assessment process as per the marking scheme. "It deprives the candidates from getting admission in the desired course/college which is detrimental to the future of the candidate(s) concerned as also has an impact on the sanctity of the examination and evaluation conducted by the Board," reads the notification on the revision of marks.
