IIM Lucknow announces criteria and program details for the GMPE 2018-19
The announcement for the 16th batch for General Management Program for Executives (GMPE) has been made by the IIM Lucknow. The program is a unique learning opportunity for the candidates to immerse themselves in the IIM learning experience. By enrolling, candidates will get 240 hours of classroom teaching.About the programThe program is a one-year part-time program and will consist of four on-campus modules with each module lasting 9 days.The program is specially designed for the working executives and will help them in preparing their next career move. The program will have a blend of advanced management theory, soft skills, and quantitative methods which are used in real-world practices.Eligibility criteriaInterested candidates must have scored at least 50 percent marks in their graduation/post-graduation and should have a minimum of 3-year full-time post qualification work-experience as on January 15, 2018. Prof. Omkarprasad S Vaidya, Chairperson (Long-term – MDP), IIM Lucknow, said, “This program is exclusively developed for the working professionals, who wish to upgrade their education base but usually cannot do so because of their busy schedule and pressing commitments. It has a blend of modern approaches in management studies. A proper mix of the case study, role play, group exercises, analytics using finest software and the conventional lecturing approach. I am sure, this will be the most viable step in oneʼs lustrous career ahead”. “It's a highly beneficial program for people who could not do a full-time management course.
