Bihar Government to establish primary schools at each kilometer and introduce credit cards for students

The education minister of Bihar, Sharvan Kumar told the reporters that Bihar state government has been successful in establishing primary schools at each kilometer and middle and secondary schools at the three and five km respectively and is now slowly approaching towards the goal of setting high school at every panchayat.He further informed that out of 8391 panchayats in the state, 5059 had a middle school and 2200 had a high school.In order to give education boost in the state, the government has also relaxed the norms in terms of availability of the land for opening new high schools.When asked about the regular payment of the University teachers he said that the salary has been credited to their accounts and measures are being taken for releasing the salary on the timely basis in the near future.He further informed that government is taking necessary steps to increase the gross enrollment ratio in the higher education in the state and will provide hassle free loan to the students to pursue higher education in the state through Bihar Credit Card.
