Duo arrested while cheating in the SSC exam

Police in the Dwarka's Sector 8 arrested a duo who switched their photographs on the commission's copy from so they can impersonate each other during the exam. According to the police one of the accused is a dummy candidate, who was present in the exam to divert the attention from the other candidate.“The two were arrested under IPC sections 419, 420 and 120-(B) and sent to judicial custody,” DCP (Dwarka) Shibesh Singh said.Police further told that candidates share their first name-- Somvir and they used it to bypass the invigilator for 30 minutes but were caught after 30 minutes. Both the candidates belong to Haryana's Sonipat district, police said.The incident of heating happened on March 12 during the exam held at the Ray Group of Institutions.“The exam started at 10 am. The two candidates had used their original commission copy to bypass the biometrics. However, one of them had torn his photo from his commission copy and pasted the other candidate's photo,” a police officer said.
