Important instructions for the NIOS students who wish to appear for the NEET 2018 exam
Special instructions have been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for the candidates who have pursued their schooling through National Institute of Open Learning (NIOS)/State Open School or studied biology or biotechnology as an additional subject in class 12.Many students from Open schools are still facing the technical glitches even after the Delhi HC's order which allow them to fill the application form for the NEET 2018 exam.Following candidates can fill the application form from the Open schools Candidates who are above 25 years of age and belong to the UR categoryFrom SC/ST/OBC category and candidates who entitled for reservation under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 aged above 30 yearsCandidates from NIOS/State Open SchoolsCandidates who have passed the biology as an additional subjectCandidates who have passed as a private candidate CBSE has asked the open school students to submit the below mentioned details as they register for the exam: Name of school/college: Same as that of class 12Year of passing: One year before the passing of class 1Place of study: As applicableState where class 11 school/college is located: As of class 12District where class 1 school/college is located: As of class 12
