Application process for the JET 2018 is now open

The application process for the Joint Entrance Test (JET) 2018 exam for Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune and Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata has now begun and the last date for the same is January 25, 2018. The entrance test will be conducted for all the Film and television courses offered at FTII and SRFTI. Candidates who will qualify the exam will be called for orientation and interview apart from the PG Diploma course in Acting.In case of PG Diploma in Acting, candidates will be called for an audition who will clear the exam. The minimum eligibility criterion for the admission into all PG Diploma courses is a Bachelor degree.  Candidates who want to pursue PG diploma in Sound Recording and Sound Design must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with physics as a subject at Senior Secondary (10+2) level.For PG diploma in Art Direction and Production Design, candidates must have Bachelor degree in applied arts, architecture, painting, sculpture, interior design, or any related fields in Fine Arts or any other equivalent diploma from a recognized institute.The application fee for the candidates is INR 4000 and for SC, ST candidates the application fee is INR 1250.The exam will be conducted by the authority on February 18, 2018. The exam will be of 3 hours duration and will consist of 100 questions.
