CBSE Board Exams 2018: Theory exams date sheet awaited; Practical exams in January
With the release of the date sheets for the practical exams for 2018, CBSE has set the process of board exams in motion; however, the date sheet for the theory exams is still awaited. According to the reports, the practical exams for class 10 and 12 will begin in January and may continue till February 2018. As far as date sheet is concerned, it has been given to the schools and schools have been told to upload the marks of the students in practical exams by February. For the assessing the students of class 10 and 12, CBSE conducts practical and theory exams of the students. In order to pass the theory subjects students are required to obtain minimum 33% marks and the subjects which have both theory and practical, students are required to obtain 33% marks in both-- theory and practical. As of now, there has been no update on the date sheet of theory exams, but it is expected in January. Last year also, the date sheet was released by the board on January 9. However, this year board is expected to finalize the exams dates only after the election dates for the states are released.
