The online application process for the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET 2017) has been started by the Education Recruitment Board, Punjab and the eligible candidates can fill the PSTET 2017 application form by visiting the official website of the board -- educationrecruitmentboard.com.The last date for registering the same is December 26 (upto 11 pm) and the exam will be held on December 31. There will be two papers--PSTET 1 (for classes 1 to 5) and PSTET 2 (for classes 6 to 8).Application fee General category: INR 600SC, ST and differently abled category: INR 300Ex-servicemen have complete exemption from the payment of the fee. Candidates who are appearing for the final year exams of D.El.Ed/ ETT/ BEd or equivalent qualification are also eligible to apply for the exam.Exam patternEach paper will have 150 objective type questions of mark and candidates are required to score minimum 60 percent marks. For recruitment purposes, a separate test in a particular subject will be conducted for primary and upper primary class teachers.
