Admission to 1700 schools in Delhi will begin on December 27 and the process will end on January 17. The first list will be uploaded on February 15. The registration fee is INR 25.Central government will conduct the admissions For 25 per cent seats that are reserved for students belonging to the economically weaker section/disadvantaged (EWS/DG) category.The admissions in the nursery class will be based on the point system. The schools will upload the criteria against which maximum of 100 points can be allotted to the child. However, the use of the certain discriminatory criteria such as first born’, ‘special ground’ (parents with proficiency) etc. cannot be used by the school to award points to the children.Criteria which are allowed to be followed: 20 percent management quotaPoints for the siblings enrolled in the same schoolNeighborhood and school specific criteria
