Class 10 CBSE science board exam review: Easy and straightforward paper based on NCERT



The CBSE board exams for class 10 and 12 began on March 9 and yesterday, students of class 10 appeared for second major exam, Science. Around 19,85,397 students from class 10 as 12 are appearing for their board exams this year. Student's reaction Questions were all direct and an average student can easily score between 50 to 60 percent in the exam. The questions were based on NCERT and almost all students attended 80 percent of the paper. The diagrams were all from NCERT and easiest section to attempt was the chemistry.According to the reports students were quite happy with the science paper. They were satisfied with, how CBSE has framed the exam and majority of them are expecting marks above 75. In a conversation, students of Ramjas school Delhi said that physics contained some tricky questions otherwise exam was simple and straightforward.The duration of exam was 3 hours i.e. from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Initially 15 minutes were given to the students to read the question paper thoroughly. The paper was distributed to the students on 10:15 am. The CBSE class 10 Science exam was divided into two sections namely A and B. Section A comprised of  theoretical part and carried the weight age of 70 marks while section B comprised of MCQs and carried the weight age of 20 marks.
