CBSE class 12 Computer Science board exam analysis



On March 27, 2017 CBSE successfully conducted the exam of Computer Science for class 12 on various examination centers. It was the last elective exam for the students of the science stream and according to the feedback from the students and teachers the question paper was not difficult and any student who prepared well for the exam can easily score more than 85 marks in the exam. Overall difficulty level of the paper Since this was the last exam for the students of the science stream they were actually pretty nervous and tensed before the exam began. But as the question papers were handed to them they felt relieved as the exam was not a nightmare from their dreams. In fact, many students found the exam to be simple, straightforward and they found it to be the easiest of all the exams. Overall analysis of the exam Each question paper was divided into three sections namely A, B and C. Total number of questions were 7. While section C was compulsory there was choice between Section A and Section B. Section A: It was based on C++ programming. Majority of questions were from objects, coding and output. Any student good with the logical programming skills would have found the section easy. Section B: This section was for the candidates with Python Programming and questions in this section simple and straight too. Section C: Section C was compulsory for all students and had questions from networking, SQL and Boolean algebra. Questions were simple and any student who had gone through the CBSE sample papers, would have found the questions simple.
