Another girl who fought her illness and scored 8.8 CGPA in class X Exams

The results for class 10 CBSE Board exams were declared by the board on Saturday and with many students scoring the CGPA of 10, this little girl struggled with her illness day and night and emerged victorious with the CGPA of 8.8 in this year's exams.This is the story of 16 year old girl Mahima Shah from Uttar Pradesh who did not give up till the end and made all her teachers and parents proud with the results.The battle she fought during the exam timeAccording to the reports form HT, "being on a wheelchair, Mahima finds it difficult even to move her limbs as congenital spastic cerebral palsy prevented the normal development of her motor neurons inhibiting movement in muscles. She cannot even walk, stand or can't even turn the page of her notebook".Mahima's class 10 scorecardHer father entered her roll number on the mobile phone only to find out how well her little girl has performed in the exams: Science: 9Math: 9English: 9Social Science: 8 CGPA: 8.8 score Mahima's reaction on her result "Oh, 8.8," Mahima said with a broad smile on her face. Mahima wanted to speak more about the results but her weak voice muscles became hindrance. Before results were announced she was expecting her CGPA to be between 8 and 8.1. Due to her disability a writer was permitted to her by the CBSE."The writer was a year junior to me. It was very difficult to make her understand what I was saying," Mahima said to HT. "The worst (experience) was during the maths paper because she was not good at calculations. But eventually it turned out well, I guess," she added.
