Girls outperformed boys in Maharashtra MSBSHSE SSC result 2017
The class 10 results of The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) were declared on June 13 on the official website of the board at www.mahresult.nic.in. The results were also available on the www.maharashtraeducation.com. The exams for the class 10 were conducted from March 7 to 29, 2017.SSC class 10 results for the year 2016, were declared by the state on June 6 and just like the last year, girls outperformed the boys. Pass percentage for the girls this year is 91.46 percent and for the boys the pass percentage remained at 86.51 percent. According to the reports from Hindustan Times, around, 48,570 students have secured more than 90 percent.Total number of boys appeared for the exams: 9,98,908Total number of girls appeared for the exams: 7,76,190Dip in overall pass percentageThis year, the overall pass percentage for the Maharashtra SSC class 10 results dropped marginally to 88.74 percent from 89.56 percent in 2016. Out of 16,50,449 students, who registered for the Maharashtra SSC exam 16,58,855 students managed to pass the exams.
