Challenging OMR responses for the NEET 2017 results
The OMR answer sheets and responses to the questions answered by the candidates have been released by the CBSE board on June 13, on its official website www.cbseneet.nic.in. The OMR sheets will be available online only for two days as mentioned in the official notice released by the CBSE.CBSE was directed by the Supreme Court to declare the results for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. The board will declare the result for the NEET 2017 exam before June 26.Availability of the OMR sheetsThe OMR sheets will be available for the students from June 13 (Tuesday) to June 14 (Wednesday, till 5 pm).How to challenge? Candidates can check the scanned images of the OMR sheets and answer keys. They can do so by logging into their account by using the userid and password on the website.Those who are willing to challenge can challenge the same by paying the fee of Rs 1000 per response/per question challenged.Only challenges submitted in the stipulated period of time will be accepted by the CBSE. Warning by the CBSE It has been observed by the CBSE that students claim their answers to be tampered by the CBSE after they have made changes to the downloaded copies of the OMR sheets and such act of false claim is covered by the CBSE under unfair practices in Rule 9.1(k) and (l) of Chapter 9 of information bulletin. If candidates found doing so, they will be barred from appearing in future NEET-UG examinations.
