To promote academic collaboration and research, IIM Bangalore inaugurated Israel Centre

In an attempt to boost the India's academic collaboration with the middle-eastern nation, IIM Bangalore inaugurated the Israel Centre on its campus.Pointing to the fact the Israeli economy is primarily based on innovation and the start-up industry, the Israeli ambassador to India stated "Indian technology will support their system and result in a merger of ecosystems".“India's strong aspirational entrepreneurial spirit stands to gain from Israel's vibrant technology-based innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. Israel's aim for market scale up would be aided by India's large market with innovative opportunities,” IIM Bangalore director G Raghuram said.He further said that Israel center will provide the platform to understand technology innovation, business strategy and history, government policies and culture which will help in boosting further collaborations in academics, research, business, and beyond.“The Israel Centre is a consolidation of what has been happening already and it is sure to cement the existing thriving business and academic ties between India and Israel. All this can now be taken forward,” said Raghuram.
