These changes will be introduced from the 2019 academic session and the authority has taken the decision to set the standards at par with the other boards in the country.'The objective of this is to bring about a close conformity with other Boards in the country,' CISCE said in a notification. In an official letter, addressed to all the schools affiliated by the council, Chief Executive and Secretary Gerry Arathoon has asked to implement the same policy in the internal exams as well from the academic year 2018-19.'The Council has participated in numerous meetings with the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, along with the other Examination Boards of the country and was nominated to be a member of the Inter-Board Working Group (IBWG) to discuss various examination related matters and make recommendations accordingly,' he said.
