Arunachal Colleges and Universities teachers to get the benefits of 7th Pay Commission

Pema Khandu, Chief Minister, Arunachal Pradesh, announced that the teachers of colleges and universities in Arunachal Pradesh will receive the benefits of 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC).Mr. Khandu was present at the inaugural function of Dera Natung Government College where he said that matter will be examined by the education department and will be implemented on ASAP basis. He also told that in order to overcome the shortage of teachers in several government colleges, the government has created 130 new posts for the teaching and non-teaching staff in 29 higher education institutes. "The state government is putting emphasis on quality education and every effort will be made to address manpower shortage and infrastructure-related problems," the chief minister said.Mr. Khandu also assured the sanction of the funds for building boundary walls around the college and installing a transformer to overcome the problem of frequent power cuts.He also congratulated the editorial board members of the college research journal. The journal was released on the inauguration ceremony.
