Workshop for the parents of students of class 10 and 12 studying in government schools

The AAP government is all set to launch a 'parents' workshops' for the students who are studying in government schools of Delhi.The main aim of the workshop is to make sensitize the parent about the need of a supportive environment which is required for the students who will soon appear for the board examinations. “The involvement of parents in the education of children makes a significant difference to their performance. The workshops are aimed at working with parents to help create the right kind of environment for children even at their homes,” said Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.The workshops will be held by from November 15 in schools run by the government of Delhi. Participation of the parents in the workshop is not mandatory but voluntary. “Parents will also be sensitised on how to play a supportive role with children to reduce their stress,” said Sisodia.According to the statement of the Delhi Government, a full fledge program along the same line will be launched for the parents in January 2018. Initially, these workshops will be conducted for the parents of the students of government schools who will appear for the exams of class 10 and 12.
