'Edutainment Award' at education expo goes to CFSI chief

'Edutainment Award' of the event capital was granted to the Sharvan Kumar, CEO of Children's Film Society, which is the India's biggest education expo and students conclave.The award was conferred to the Kumar for its outstanding contribution to children's education films."The CFSI makes children's films which not only educate the young minds but also ignite creativity in them. For instance, two years ago, at the CFSI Hyderabad Film Festival in Telangana, we had introduced a section 'Little Director' exhibiting films made only by the children," Kumar said.Kumar said "CFSI is organizing national and international film fests for the children hoping that they would be inspired to become great film makers in the future and share their creativity through the medium of films".Others who were congratulated on the award night were: Prahlad Kakkarmedia personality Yogesh Lakhani RK University, Hyderabad's Director Ujjwal K. Chowdhary. Some prominent speakers were also present on the award night and they were: Ramesh Sippy, Filmmaker, who discussed about the media and filmsNishka Lulla, fashion designer, who gave tips of becoming entrepreneur in fashion designingMukesh Cahbra, casting directorJitu Salvani, photographerSwaroop Banerjee, Event capital CEO The 'Edutainment show' is the country's biggest capital education expo, which is organized by the Event Capital, which help students to pursue career in media and design. It also provides career counseling, admission information and interaction with the experts, discussion and workshops.
