CBSE class 10 board results: Delhi pass percentage dipped by 13 percent
The Central Board of Secondary Education declared its class 10 2017 board result on its official website on June 3, 2017.Overall, the pass percentage in the CBSE's class 10 exam results witnessed a dip of 5 percent. The pass percentage this year falls to 90.95 percent as opposed to 96.21 percent last year.The highest pass percentage was recorded by the Trivandrum region at 99.85 percent and is followed by Madras and Allahabad which is 99.62 and 98.23 respectively.The pass percentage in national capital witnessed a drastic downfall of 13 percent this year as opposed to 91.06 percent during the last year.For a candidate, in order to pass, he/she is required to score minimum 33 percent marks combined in both internals/practical and main examination. Number of candidates: 16,67,573Board based: 8,84,710School based: 7,82,863Number of centers: 3,974Number of schools: 16,354 The CBSE, earlier, had made it clear that the results will not be available in the board premises and public is advised not visit the Board's office in order to collect the results for their wards.The verification process will shortly and will be displayed on the CBSE's website. This year more than 10 lakh students appeared for the class 12 exams and more than 27 lakh students appeared for board exams; class 10 and class 12 combined.
