Exam leak: AIIMS MBBS 2017, Institution orders probe
The institution formed a committee to investigate into the matter AIIMS MBBS 2017 entrance exam leak after following the complaints of the activist Dr Anand Rai. Rai is also known as the whistleblower of the Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh and since then has been actively involved in exposing such malpractices in medical examinations. He posted a series of images of question paper on twitter of the entrance exam which was held in the country on May 28. Following the complaints the institution has ordered a probe into the matter and is in contact with the investigation agencies in order to take necessary actions once the facts are ascertained. "I suggest the committee to cross check the answers and the results of those 70 students," Rai said. Rai also alleged the involvement of the MC Saxena College in Lucknow. "They allowed the racketeers to enter into the exam center and take the screen shot and about 70 students are involved in this malpractice," he said.Rai also pointed out that the paper leak pattern was similar to the 2012 AIIMS PG paper leak where the racketeers targeted one exam center, scanned the question papers which were then sent to the Noida Control room and from there answers were sent to the candidates.
