On May 7, CBSE successfully conducted NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) in offline mode, across 103 cities in 10 different languages.According to the feedback from the students the overall exam was easy but the Physics portion was a bit tricky to solve.Expected cut-off for the exam"The cut-off for general category would be between 380 and 410," says the expert Rajshekhar Ratrey, VP Educational Content, Toppr.com.NEET exam was objective in nature and consisted of 180 questions from subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). The duration of exam was 3 hours.For the exam total 11,38,890 candidates appear.Quotas in admissionAccording to the marks obtained the admissions will be in following quotas: all India quota seatsstate government quota seatsState/Management/NRI quota seats in private medical/dental colleges or any private/deemed university and central pool quota seats. About the exam The exam was conducted by the CBSE for giving admission into MBBS/BDS courses in medical/dental colleges which are running under the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The results for the exam are expected to be declared on June 8.
