Bringing an end to all speculations the Central Board of Secondary has declared class 10 board exam results 2017 today on their official portals: cbseresults.nic.in, results.nic.in and cbse.nic.in. The results are also available on bing.com.Last year the class 10 results were announced by the board on May 28 but this year due to all the fuss around the moderation policy of the CBSE delayed the results and finally they were released today.Following are the steps following which students can check the results of class 10 Go to any one of the official website which are mentioned aboveOn the homepage click on the link for the CBSE class 10 results 2017A new page will open. On the new page enter your roll no and security code if the field providedClick on the submit button and result will be presented on the screenFor future reference take the print out of the same Passing marks for class 10 You can only pass class 10 if your grade is above E that is, if you have scored at least 33 percent marks combined in all the subjects. The students can also access their results via SMS service also. To obtain the result via SMS students are required to send an SMS in the following format: TYPE 'CBSE 10 [rollno]' and send it to any of the following service providers MTNL (52001), BSNL (57766), Aircel (5800002), Idea (55456068), 54321, 51234 and 5333300 (Tata Teleservices), 54321202 (Airtel) and 9212357123 (National Informatics Center). In order to help the students in dealing with the post-result stress CBSE is providing post-result counseling which will continue till June 11. The timings for the counseling are 8 am to 10 pm. Students can also calculate the CGPA on their own and for this they need the sum total of their grade points and then divide it by the number of subjects (whether you are calculating for the best four or five). To calculate overall percentage, multiply the CGPA by 9.5.
