VIT University is offering full fee waiver to the Board toppers for the B.Tech Courses

VIT University (Vellore Institute of Technology) is offering full a complete fee waiver (100 percent) to all the state and central toppers of the board exams for BTech courses for the duration of four years. This scholarship scheme is being implemented under the "GV School Development Programe.'VIT's vice President Sankar Viswanathan made the announcement about the scholarship program.Not only this, but fee waiver is also being facilitated to other studious students as follows: Students with up to rank 50 would receive a 75 percent waiver in feeStudents with between 51 and 100 would receive a 50 percent waiver in feeStudents with between 101 and 1000 would receive a 25 percent waiver in fee Waiver in boarding and lodging in the hostels Sankar Viswanathan said "boy and girl each securing top ranks in plus two at district level from State Board schools who also appeared for VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) will be given 100 per fee concession and free boarding and lodging in the hostels of VIT under STARS scheme." Admission to candidates only on merit basis The chancellor said that the admission in VIT will only be done on the merit basis, on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in VITEEE.The result for the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) 2017 was declared yesterday. The computer based exam was of duration 2 hours and 30 minutes and was attempted by lots of candidates.
