25,000 Indian Students will be trained by Cisco in the domain of Cyber Security



Soon 25,000 students will began their training under Cisco in the domain cyber security which will help them in aiding various startups and build a career for themselves in the area of technology. The skills which the company will impart to the students will fall under the areas of networking, security and Internet of Things (IoT).According to the reports this information was given by Dinesh Malkani, President, Cisco India and SAARC and according to him the company has been a major contributor in the education sector in the nation and there are lots of campuses which relay on various technologies developed by Cisco.Training will be imparted in digital skills Cisco and RV college of Engineering (RVCE), earlier this month, announced the launch of Center of Excellence (CoE) in Internet of Things (IoT) whose main aim is to impart essential training required in digital skills in Bengaluru. Dinesh Malkani said "We are extremely focused on India. We have been here for 20 years, we have R&D facilities, global delivery centers and have also invested heavily in the country in regards to Digital India perspective." The company has been involved in various projects in India such as smart cities, safe city project in Navi Mumbai, Lucknow and Nagpur."Thus, across the board we have been very focused on the smart cities vertical. We keep refining our solutions and portfolios. At present the company is currently running 50 projects which aim to help in the area of cyber security and which is expected to be completed by the end of this year." said Malkani
