SSC, for the Combined Graduate Examination, has released the final dates on its official website located at www.sic.nic.in.On March 19 the commission conducted CGL tier III exam and the exam was based on essay writing, passage writing, letter writing and application writing.Important dates Registration commences from May 16Last date for closing of registration is June 16.SSC CGL computer based tier-1 exam will be held from August 1 to 20SSC CGL computer based tier-II exam will be held from November 10 to 11.SSC CGL descriptive paper tier-III will be held on January 21, 2018 About SSC The staff selection commission was established in 1975, on November 4. The organization works under the government of India and is responsible for recruiting the staff for various posts in various Ministries and departments which fall under the government of India. Its headquarter is located in Delhi and there are seven regional offices, which are located at Allahabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai, Bangalore and have two sub regional offices each at Raipur and Ranchi. Regional Director heads the regional office where as each sub-regional office is headed by Deputy-Director.
