What's next after CBSE UGC NET 2017 exam?

CBSE successfully conducted the UGC NET 2017 exam on November 5, 2017 across various test centers in the nation. The exam was conducted from morning 9:30 am to evening 4:30am in 84 subjects.Now, that the exam is over the next step will be release of the answer keys and results. Answer keys and OMR sheets are expected to be released by the CBSE in the month of January, next year.The exam was conducted by the CBSE in 84 different subjects across 91 test centers spread throughout the nation.According to the CBSE, the captured images of the response sheets of the candidates who appeared in the exam along with the answer keys of the papers will be displayed on the official website of the CBSE for NET exam-- cbsenet.nic.in in the first week of the January, 2018. The exact dates will be notified later by the CBSE to the candidates by means of newspapers."The candidates, who are not satisfied with the captured response, may challenge by filling online application form on the website www.cbsenet.nic.in and paying a sum of Rs.1000/- per question The challenge of answer keys will also be accepted online only through the link available on the website www.cbsenet.nic.in on payment of Rs.1000/- per question," CBSE had said this in an earlier notification.CBSE said that candidates can pay the fee either with credit or debit card.If the challenge of any candidates regarding the captured image of OMR sheet and the answer key is accepted then the fee will be refunded by the CBSE in all other cases the fee is non-refundable."The CBSE's decision on the challenges shall be final and the result will be declared on the basis of final answer keys. The refund (if any) will be transferred online to the concerned credit/debit card account so, the candidates are advised to pay from their own credit/debit card", said the UGC NET notification.The marks obtained by the candidates will be uploaded by the CBSE on the official website-- cbsene.nic.in."No grievance with regard to answer key(s) after declaration of result of NET November, 2017 will be entertained," it added.
