Australian University- University of Adelaide hosted its first open day in India
Australian University- University of Adelaide hosted its first open day in India today i.e. on August 12 with the aim of attracting more Indian talent. During the event, University also announced that it is planning to increase the number of seats for Indian international students to 300. “Indians are highly innovative and have excelled in the research field. That is why we are planning to open about 300 seats for admissions in various disciplines for the Indian students,” the Universityʼs representative to India said.He also said that earlier there used to be only 40-50 seats for the Indian students but the university is increasing the seats to 300 on belief that students from India are highly valuable. The open day hold the discussions about the study opportunities at the University and for this 10 academician were present from the university from various departments including the Faculty of Arts, School of Chemical Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, Australian School of Petroleum, School of Architecture and Built Environment and Faculty of Sciences. Potential aspirants also enquired enthusiastically about the facilities, accommodation and services for the international students.The event took place at the Taj Mahal Hotel, in Delhi between 1pm and 5pm. The university will also host its events in countries such as Indonesia, China, Malaysia and Vietnam. Indonesia, China, Malaysia and Vietnam.
