Jamia Millia Islamia University, for academic collaboration, signed MOU with the Iranian University

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) and Iran's Al-Mustafa International University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in order to establish long-term academic collaboration in field of research, education and innovation.The MoU was signed by Prof Talat Ahmad, Vice-Chancellor, JMI and his counterpart Dr Ali Reza Arafi, Vice Chancellor, Al-Mustafa International University.According to the reports, the MoU between the two universities will help the universities in collaborating in the field research and teaching which will be helpful in restructuring the courses. The MoU will also help in developing new methods of teaching and learning, undertaking interdisciplinary studies and promotion of international understanding. The MoU will also enable the faculty and student exchange programs between the two universities and will promote research collaboration in humanities, culture, Persian language and literature, management, mass communication and Islamic studies. Holding joint conferences, workshops and sharing the academic data is also felicitated under the signed MoU between the two universities. Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor JMI, Prof. Talat Ahmad said that "common academic areas should be explored and identified for research and exchange of faculty and students. He added that the rich cultures of Iran and India should be studied to develop better understanding between the two countries".
