IIT and IISC are among top 200 engineering colleges of the world

Times Higher Education subject-wise rankings have released and according to them IISC Bangalore and IIT Bombay are among the world's top 200 colleges for engineering and computer science.In the list IISC scored 89th position and IIT Bombay found its place in the 126-150 band on global scale.IITs located in Delhi, Kanpur and Kharagpur found their place in the 201-250 band whereas IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee in 251-300 band.IIT Guwahati was in the 300-400 band whereas Jadavpur University, NIT Rourkela and Tezpur University were in 400-500 band. These rankings were released on Tuesday night and scored 500 institutes worldwide. Last year, these ranking scored only top 100 institutes and those rankings were based on the parameters such as industry income, international outlook, teaching and research
