UGC NET 2017 is scheduled to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on November 5, 2017. Below are some important instructions mentioned for the candidates and those are going to appear for the exam must take a look at them.The admit cards for the UGC NET 2017 have been released by the CBSE and are available on the official website of the CBSE at cbsenet.nic.in.Below are the important instructions for the candidates: Candidates must reach the examination center two hour 30 minutes prior to the start of the exam.Candidates must bring a photo identity card along with the admit card provided by the CBSE on the day of the examination.Mobile phones, pagers, electronic devices, bits of paper, books/note books, watch, etc. are restricted items and are not allowed inside the examination center.The use of calculators and log tables is also prohibitedCandidates have to follow the instructions given by the invigilator in the examination hall and must not argue with the staff present on duty on the day of examination. Candidates who will fail to follow the instructions, their case will be treated as the case of unfair means and results of such candidates will not be declared.Candidates who will remain absent in paper 1 will not be permitted to sit in paper 2 and paper 3.There is no negative marking for the incorrect answers.Travelling allowance will be not be paid to the candidates on the account of appearing at the examination center.For further information and queries related to the exam, candidates can visit the official website.
