Last date for the JNU 2018 admissions extended

The last date for submitting the applications for admissions for various courses in JNU for academic session has been 2018-19 has been extended by University. Earlier, the last date was October 13 and now it has been extended to October 17 till 5:30 pm. Admissions in the university are being done to fill the seats for the research programs- 720 seats available in M.Phil/PhD courses-, 459 seats BA programs and 1,118 seats in MA, M.Sc, M.Tech and MPH courses. To know more about the admission process, candidates can visit the official site of the university.Online application instructionsTo complete the application it necessary for the candidates to use the Internet Explorer version 6 or higher or Mozilla Firefox version 1.5 or higher.The last date for submitting the online application is Tuesday, October 17, 2017.To complete the registration process, candidates are required to provide all their basic information along with a valid e-mail id which will serve as a login Id for the application.Candidates must make sure that they have typed their respective e-mail addresses correct as they will not be able to change it later. Along with this candidates will have to generate their own password which will allow them to logout and login to the application.It is not necessary for the candidates to complete the process in one sitting. They will have the facility to save their work and can resume from the same point by logging in again.For security purposes, the time out period for the application, if it is left idle, is 15 or 20 minutes. Make sure to click on the save button periodically so that you may not lose any of your work.Complete the application process by uploading photo, signature and paying the fee. Don’t leave them for the last minute in order to avoid any technical crisis.Only completed application with photo, signature and payment of fee will be considered by the university.
