QS Asia University Rankings for 2018 released

QS Asia University Rankings for 2018 have been released and IIT Bombay moved one step up in rankings this year. It has moved from 35th rank to 34th rank this year in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Asia University Rankings.In the rankings IIT-D was ranked 41 and IIT Madras was placed on rank 48. IISc Bangalore, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, University of Delhi, IIT Roorkee and IIT Guwahati also found their place in top 100 institutes in QS Asia University Rankings.Earlier, in June, IIT Bombay was ranked at 179 position in the QS world university ranking for 2017. The institute showed the improvement of 40 places in the 2017 world rankings released by the QS.IIT Bombay ranks number one in India with 75.7 out of 100 and has following scores in various areas: 88.1 in academic reputation97.5 in employer reputation44.5 in faculty student ration96.3 in staff with PhD89.6 in papers per faculty9.7 in international faculty6.3 in international students10.9 in inbound exchange students9.1 in outbound exchange students41.4 in citations per paper "I am glad that IIT Bombay continues to rise in the rankings.
