Last date to apply for IIT JAM extended
A notification has been released by the exam conducting authority, IIT Bombay, for IIT JAM 2018. Candidates who wish to appear for the same should note that the last date for applying for IIT JAM 2018 has been extended by the authority.“JAM 2018 ONLINE Application process has started from 5th September 2017. Last date for application submission is extended to 23P59 hours on 17th October 2017,” the institute said in a notice.Previously, the application process was scheduled to end on October, 10, 2017. IIT JAM is an exam for getting admissions into the MSc (two-year), joint MSc-PhD, MSc-PhD dual degree and other post-bachelor's degree programs.The exam is scheduled to be held on February 11, 2018 in two sessions. The first session will be from 9 am to 12 pm and will have questions from streams like biotechnology, chemistry, geology and mathematical statistics courses.The second shift will be from 2pm to 5pm and will include questions from streams such as biological sciences, mathematics and physics courses.Steps to apply for IIT JAM 2018 Visit the official website of the JAM at jam.iitb.ac.inClick on the link for the application formRegister and enter the details in provided form in the prescribed format After completing the registration process, download the copy of the application form and save it for any future reference.
