Check the important dates for the JNU BA Hons. Registration

The registrations for the Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honors have begun at the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).Many parents along with their children were present at the convention center of the university for enrolling their kids in the various facilities offered by the varsity which includes hostels and health cards.All the interested candidates are required to apply latest by July 20. However, the process will again resume on July 28 and will continue till July 31. Vice chancellor M Jagadesh Kumar said "It has been ensured that all the girls, SC, ST and PwD (Persons with Disabilities) students are given hostel accommodation on the day of joining the university, besides keeping the registration process of various courses under one roof, unlike in the past". Educational qualification BA courses: Interested candidates must be class 12 passed out from recognized state board or University.MA, MSc and MCA: Interested candidates must have undergraduate degree from a recognized institute or university. "JNU will continue to attract the best students because of the quality of education provided here," said Kumar. "I could see the happiness in their eyes for getting admission in JNU," the VC said. Important dates: MA, MSc and MCA: July 21, 24, 25 and again between July 28 and August 1PhD: From July 18 to July 20
