Schools in GOA rescheduled the exams for FIFA U-17

With matches of FIFA U-17 to be held in Goa from October 7, the state minister decided to reschedule the first terminal exams of the state.According to the reports the decision has been taken so that students do not miss the once in a lifetime opportunity of watching the live matches of the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).Statement from Director of Education, GP Bhat "FIFA under-17 world cup will be held in India with Goa hosting the some matches from October 7-October 21, 2017 at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium at Fatorda," State Director of Education, G P Bhat said in a circular addressed to all the schools in the state"In order to enable the students to witness the matches of once in a life time event it is enjoined upon heads of all the schools in the state to re-schedule the first terminal examination so that it gets over on or before October 7, 2017," the circular said. "Regular classes will continue till the end of the term," it added. For more news and updates on the exams, all candidates have been advised to keep a regular eye on the official website of the Goa state education board.FIFA U-17 world cup matches will be hosted by the state in Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium from October 7 to October 21.
