Supreme Court's verdict on NEET 2017: Students above 25 years can appear for the exam



After a long wait on the age limit criteria in NEET exam, the Supreme Court finally announced its verdict and has allowed candidates above 25 years to appear for the NEET exam. Also, the date for filling the application form has been extended till April 5. In addition to announcing these verdicts the apex court also heard the plea on conducting the NEET 2017 exam in URDU. According to the reports, the Student Islamic Organization had requested the court to direct the inclusion of the URDU language in the upcoming NEET 2017 exam. More on the report Earlier, the student organization demanded the inclusion of URDU in NEET 2017 exam so that the fate of the students who officially studied in URDU for the exam may not get compromised.On March 10, the center submitted before the court that it is open to conduct the NEET exam in URDU but only from the next session.Later on, the center made it clear that it would be impossible to include the NEET in this session. NEET 2017 to be conducted in 10 languages According to the reports, the Central Board of Secondary Education's NEET exam will be held in 10 languages and the languages are: HindiEnglishAssameseBengaliGujaratiMarathiTamilTeleguOriyaKannada NEET 2017 is scheduled to held on May 7.
