Innovate new ideas but don’t let failures set you back: Modi

On Saturday, PM Narendra Modi called upon the youth of India to innovate new ideas to ring about the change the country needs and urge them not let their failures set them back and draw away their spirits. "Technology has made things so much simpler. Technology and innovation are powering so many changes. Things like floppies, tape recorders and the Walkman are history. Artificial intelligence, 3D technology... see how the world is undergoing changes. This is an era of 'Internet of Things'," he said in his address at the Smart India Hackathon 2017. IT based solutions are necessary in order to solve the problem of common people and the country. He encouraged the youth of India to fulfill their dreams and not to withdraw from efforts if they hit failure on their way. Modi also cautioned the youth on quality of the product which is very necessary for its survival and to be of actual use to common man and the country. He described ''Jan Bhagidari' as the true essence of the Democracy and said " Together we will solve all the issues that are affecting the nation. This will be done through Jan Bhagidari." "Democracy is not about voting and giving a contract to one government for five years but it about ''Jan Bhagidari'." He said. "A series of issues have been placed before our youth to work on. The issues are challenging but this is also an opportunity. There is a need to use technology more and innovate more. We live in a technology-driven era," he added.Praising the youth he said that youth of India is blessed with phenomenal energy and this will bring the nation good results in due time.
