Apply now: Registration date for GATE 2018 not to be extended any further
In a recent announcement The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati made it clear that the registration date for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2018 will not be extended therefore, candidates are requested to apply for the exam on the official website of the GATE 2018 which is October 5, 2017. IIT Ghuwati further announced that due to last minute rush for the registrations among the students they could experience some lag on the registration portal which can lead to payment failures. Therefore, interested candidates are advised to apply for the exam at their earliest. Candidates can correct their GATE application until November 17 by mailing their details to the respective zonal GATE office as described in the application.“In the email, please mention the Enrollment ID as well as nature of corrections to be done along with the scanned copy of proof,” IITG said in a notification.The application fee is INR 1500 for the unreserved category, INR 750 for the female candidate and reserved classes and $ 50 for the international students.The GATE exam is scheduled for February 3, 4, 10 and 11 2018 and admit cards will be available for the exam from January 5, 2018.
