GATE 2018: Last date for registration extended

The last date for submitting the application for the GATE 2018 exam has been extended to October 9, Monday.A notification regarding the same was also published on the official website of the GATE which said 'in response to the request received for the extension of the closing date for application submission, it has been extended to 20P00 Hrs (IST) of October 9, 2017 (Monday)'. GATE 2018 exam is scheduled to be held on February 3,4,10 and 11 of the next year and IIT Guwahati, the official organizer of the exam, has said that the results will be published in March 2018. Earlier, the last to register for the GATE 2018 exam was today i.e. October 5, 2017 but now candidates are getting four more days to register for the exam.Earlier, IIT Guwahati has also said that extension in dates regarding the registration process would not be done.How to apply for GATE 2018? Register in GOAPS by adding personal details and by choosing a password.Login in to the GATE 2018 GOAPS website with the registration credentials.A candidate may enter the required details: Address for Communication, Eligibility degree details, College name and address with PIN code, GATE 2018 paper (subject), Choice of GATE 2018 examination cities, Photograph, Image of candidate's signature etc.Click on Save and View application buttonClick on submit and proceed to payment buttonPay the feeComplete the application process
