Officials of the UP's secondary education department were directed by the Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma to release the date sheet for the board exams by this month's end for the benefit of the students.An official statement issued by the state government also issued the instructions related to the examination centers. “The examination centres should be decided in such a way that they are utilized to their full capacity,” Sharma said. According to the reports from HT nearly 5 lakh students opted out from the final registrations for class 10 and class 12. Every year, nearly 1.5 lakh students skip registrations due to various reasons but this time the number has grown over three times.The registration process for UP board for class 10 and 12 ended last month.Keeping in mind the increasing number of mass cheating and other malpractices, UP board introduced a number of reforms like coded copies, strict evaluation and cross-checking of marks awarded by examiners by their supervisors.
